If I had known the procedure would have been this easy, I would have had it done years ago. Dr. Coad and his assistant were great!

I thought about getting Lasik for almost 2 years before finally commiting. Now, I wish I hadn’t waited so long. It’s definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made. Although it sounded scary, the procedure was quick and painless. It’s hard to believe something so life-changing could be accomplished in less than 15 minutes. I told Dr. Eviatar that he should get an honorary degree from Hogwarts School for Wizards (but he hasn’t read Harry Potter).

It’s a miracle! I never thought I’d be able to see and read clearly again. As an acting coach I was co-dependent on my glasses. I’ll still use them – but not for seeing – for a prop! To now go to theatre without 2 sets of glasses – one for the program, the other for distance – but to go and see live theatre with my own baby blues will be heavenly. Thank you, Dr. Eviatar, what a gift you have.

I have hesitated for years on having this procedure and now, 24 hours later, I wonder what was I waiting for? I have lifted the only barrier I had between me and the world! No more glasses/contacts! It’s like a story book. I went to sleep and I awoke to the real (enhanced) me! I can see!

I wore thick lenses for nearsighted vision from age six prior to my LASIK treatment. I now have 20/15 vision AND no glasses or contacts thanks to Dr. Coad and the staff at Chelsea Eye Clinic. From my first telephone contact with Carolyn on I was treated with respect, given straightforward answers from all staff, thoroughly educated about the LASIK procedure, given a full range of high technology eye exams; all of which gave me full confidence that I had chosen the right clinic and staff for my procedure.
I woke up at 4AM in the morning following my 6:00PM laser surgery. I could see everything in the bedroom! I opened the curtains. Tiny details of a bridge on the horizon were crystal clear. The first things to pop into my head were the words to Culture Club’s song “It’s A Miracle”. I was so excited I stayed up, got to work at 6AM still singing Boy George’s tune “It’s A Miracle”
Please take my advice. Contact Chelsea Eye Clinic to learn about LASIK eye surgery. The results will change your life. You will also be embraced by the staff, you will be comfortable in the Clinic’s warm, Etruscan detailed interior which sports an art gallery along with spooled videos explaining the various procedures, but most importantly….you will be “given” eyesight without glasses.
The other song that surfaced in my brain is “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy” which I dedicate to Dr. Coad and the staff at the Chelsea Eye Clinic.

I often say having the LASIK surgery was the best gift I’ve ever given myself. I was completely dependent on glasses since I was a kid and couldn’t tolerate contacts, so I feel liberated. And I get very nice compliments on my eyes now, which nobody noticed before! Dr. Eviatar and his staff are just great – they made me feel completely comfortable and at ease throughout the process (which turned out to be much easier than I expected anyway). I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Eviatar thank you for doing such a great job. I was very nervous about the surgery and you made me feel very comfortable about the process…. The results of the surgery are amazing.

I've been wearing contacts for 18 years and glasses for 20…the procedure itself was easy, quick, I'd even say fascinating …the nurse and Dr.Coad talked me through every single step which put me at ease… Today, the next morning I woke up with perfect vision. I can't believe I have no pain and 20/20 vision after 20 years! I am in awe of this procedure. I recommend it to everyone.

For me Lasik has been incredible… my vision was good enough that I didn't need to wear glasses or contacts to get by, but I suffered from blurriness and squinting. After the surgery, I suddenly saw everything 20/15. That was a dramatic change in my lifestyle. It wasn't about comfort or convenience as much as it was about being able to see at that time.
Thanks Dr.Coad.

It has been approximately two weeks since the Lasik surgery that has changed my life and I wanted to tell you that I could not be happier with the results of the procedure that corrected my severe myopia to virtually 20/20 vision. Looking back upon the entire experience, from initial testing, Lasik procedure, recovery and follow-up, my only regret is that I did not do it all a lot sooner. My sincerest appreciation to Dr. Eviatar and the entire staff Chelsea Eye Associates.

I am 53 years old, and been wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was 12. I am also a classical music conductor. I run a music festival in Italy during the summer…this, of course, requires me to be able to see people on stage, as well as look down and see little black notes and little words on the musical score. For the past few years I have become frustrated with my sight at four feet and at 25 feet. 24 hours after my surgery, I could see perfectly at far sight and almost perfectly at near sight. When I walked out of my building (it was in the evening) I was like a kid looking at the first Christmas tree. The neon lights on Broadway were so clear and bright. The colors were so vibrant-I had been missing a lot not having my sight. Every day my eyes keep evolving, but right now I am better that 20/20. It is like a trip to Lourdes. I can't thank you enough Dr. Eviatar.

Dear Dr. Coad:
I want to extend my sincere thanks to you and the staff at Chelsea Eye Associates for the outstanding preoperative advice, LASIK procedure, and follow-up care that I received.

Having relied on eye glasses since second grade and having used contact lenses since my freshman year in college, I can really never remember what it was like to wake up and see things without reaching for my glasses or to go to bed without the routine of taking out the contact lenses and dealing with the various contact lens solutions. The best word I can think of to describe the results is "miraculous."

Because they are perhaps our most precious sensory organs, there is always some trepidation about surgery involving the eyes. But from the first seminar at Chelsea Eye when Carolyn took me through the entire procedure, through the process itself when you and your assistants kept me appraised, step by step, of what was being done, I knew I was in good hands.

It's been just one week since the procedure, and I see as well as if I had inserted a new pair of contact lenses. I have experienced no side effects. And, except for the perfect vision (a big exception), I would never know that anything had been done. Thank you again.

Yours sincerely,
[Mark S. Answine]
